What are study tours?

Study tour programs offer the ideal mix of academic excellence while enjoying the sport, recreational and cultural benefits of traveling in an escorted tour to Australia, living in an Australian City, coastal beach island and bush camp.

Our study tours have the flexibility to offer programs specifically designed to meet the requirements of many different organisations such as schools, government, professional groups, Education Institutions, Sports organisations or student groups from non-English speaking backgrounds.

Groups from 10 to 50 or as organised can travel to Australia on visitor visas from periods of 2 to 12 weeks. During this time the concept is to develop an Australian experience enriched with English language.

Their unique travels combining hands-on language use with wonderful experiences will lead to treasured memories and excellent skill development.

As a registered training provider, AGI ensures all language programs are to very high standards and all tours are based on best safety practices and client satisfaction. The tours are flexible and can be tailored to your needs but a normal outline consists of 1 to 4 phases.

How it works

Phase 1

After arriving in Brisbane, students view Australian city life and experience English language sessions to improve their level.

Phase 2

Students travel to beautiful Stradbroke Island where safe student beach front accommodation provides the backdrop for a range of beach and coastal activities including options such as sand boarding, snorkelling, scuba, kayaking, fishing and an Aboriginal experience. All activities are integrated with hands-on English usage to develop skills in a fun fashion that makes the students want to use the language.

Phase 3

Students travel to an Australian bush property at Camp Moogerah with adjoining dam and bushland, safe student accommodation on the property allows a wonderful and unique bush experience.

Activity options include visits to various animal farms, lake kayaking, rope courses (develop team and personal skills), indoor climbing centre, water skiing and bush walking along with English language activities. The lake has the famous Lamington Mountains as a background.

Additional information

Operational capacity limits the group size to 60 clients however intakes can be accommodated on a weekly basis. The emphasis is on quality and safety with a unique learning experience that will generate quality recommendations from participants. The number of days in each phase can be lengthened or decreased to suit the needs of the clients. It is a requirement that each client has travel (medical) insurance

The facilities are comprehensively insured and licensed to conduct all activities. As we are the owners and operators of all the programs and offering an all-in-one service the educational tour packages can be modified to best suit client needs.
