Meet Eddie Bennett, AGI Chief Pilot.

Eddie is a qualified Unmanned Aerial System Chief Pilot and Chief Flying Instructor and is highly respected for his knowledge of UAS technology, operations and training across security, public safety, emergency, disaster and search and rescue activities. He has delivered presentations on UAS applications for city and coastal patrols, emergency response, rescue, event monitoring, security, offshore and marine pollution monitoring and crowd management in Australia, United States, Canada, Japan, China, Malaysia and Italy.

Eddie is currently the Chief Remote Pilot for The Australian Global Institute which is the training organisation with the Certificate programs and Complete AUV which is a Civil Aviation Safety Authority licensed UAS operator and training provider. In combination this is why we can offer you programs with both a national qualification and a CASA certification.

He has held numerous key positions in the UAS eco system including International President and Chief Remote Pilot for The Ripper Group International and Westpac Little Ripper Life Saver where he led the development of surveillance and rescue equipment and operational procedures achieving the world’s first UAS ocean rescue of two people.

He was responsible for working with the Faculty of Engineering, School of Software from the University of Technology Sydney for the development and integration of the Artificial Intelligence algorithm for detection of sharks and other marine life by UAS. He was responsible for the coordination of training activities for Surf Life Saving successfully delivering UAS training to over 500 lifeguards
Recently he has launched OMADA which is a prime organization representing unmanned aerial systems, training, research and development in Australia, Asia Pacific Region and the United States. A key initiative of OMADA is cooperation with Asia and Pacific Rim countries.
