This unit addresses aviation technical skill requirements (physical, mental and task-management abilities) related to safety management duties of flight crews, and contributes to safe and effective performance in complex aviation operational environments.
There are no pre-requisites for this unit however this unit involves the skills and knowledge required to utilise an emergency breathing system (EBS), in compliance with relevant regulatory requirements of the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) and national operating standards. Individual applicants will be advised further upon application.
Operations are conducted as part of recreational, commercial and military aircraft activities across a variety of operational contexts within the Australian aviation industry. as such clients may be drawn from within these areas.
The completion time frame for this unit is 1 day.
Durations may vary between new learners and those who have previous unit attainment or experience.
